Digital Twin Victoria (DTV) is expanding our collaborative network with the addition of three new partners:
- Datacom will provide support services for the DTV platform, which can be found at digitaltwin.vic.gov.au/public from June 2024.
- Telstra joins as a development partner, bringing a wealth of innovation and digital capability.
- A ten-member consortium* led by Veris also joins as a development partner, bringing significant geospatial and 3D domain expertise.
These new partnerships mark the next phase in DTV’s delivery of a digital twin of the state. The work builds upon the platform’s strong foundations set by Australia's national science agency CSIRO Data61, with significant extensions delivered by a WSP-led consortium, and custom tools by Nova Systems.
With the addition of our new partners and ongoing collaboration with the Data61 Terria team, DTV continues our commitment to using Australian innovations and open-source solutions to improve access to leading digital twin technologies. The integration of diverse and specialised skills from leading organisations across Australia’s spatial and digital industries is contributing to the longer-term success and sustainability of the platform.
The continued development of customer-led innovation will support sustainable urban planning, enhanced infrastructure management and improved public services, and reinforce Victoria’s position as a leader in digital innovation.
DTV remains committed to fostering a collaborative ecosystem for digital twin development and innovation.
* Veris-led consortium includes Arcadis, Anditi, Hexagon, NGIS, Portable, RMIT, Symbolix, V2i and Wumara Group.
